Managing Director, Central Region
Chris Gilbert joined GCP in 2026 as Managing Director, Central Region, and is responsible for overseeing GCP’s investment activities across Texas and the Central U.S. He will play a pivotal role throughout the full investment lifecycle, including deal sourcing, underwriting, project capitalization, and disposition of both investment and development opportunities for GCP’s funds and separate accounts.
Before joining GCP, Mr. Gilbert helped grow the Dallas office of a Houston, Texas-based developer where he sourced and evaluated acquisition and development opportunities, managed due diligence, project capitalization, leasing, and asset dispositions within the North Texas region.
Mr. Gilbert has nearly a decade of commercial real estate experience across varying product types covering the full investment lifecycle. His experience includes asset management and leasing for millions of square feet, transacting nearly $1 billion in commercial assets, and building a multimillion-square-foot development pipeline.
