Michael Flynn is a Partner, Investments at GCP, where he oversees the firm’s acquisition, development, leasing, equity sourcing, and disposition activities. Since joining GCP in 2021, Michael has progressed through increasingly senior leadership roles, including Development Manager and Vice President of Investments, before being named to Partner.
Michael has been a key member of the investment team responsible for the acquisition and development of approximately $1.2 billion of industrial real estate over the past four years, with a primary focus on industrial assets across the Sun Belt. He has played a pivotal role throughout the full investment lifecycle, including deal sourcing, underwriting, structuring, negotiation, and execution of both acquisition and development opportunities for GCP’s funds and separate accounts.
In addition to transaction execution, Michael is actively involved in capital markets initiatives, including equity sourcing and investor coordination, and supports the firm’s disposition strategy by executing strategic asset sales. He works closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure disciplined investment decision-making, effective risk management, and successful outcomes across the portfolio.
Michael’s experience spans speculative and build-to-suit industrial development, and he is instrumental in advancing GCP’s development pipeline through close coordination with capital partners, municipalities, brokers, and operating teams. His collaborative approach and deep understanding of industrial real estate fundamentals contribute meaningfully to GCP’s continued growth and performance.
